You may remember what it felt like to be completely alone. To think that no one could understand, and that life without drugs seemed impossibly far away.

Then you met someone who had gone before you. Someone who had felt the same fear, desperation and hopelessness — and showed you that a different life was possible.

That is the feeling we hope will fill Solnahallen. In August 2027, addicts from Sweden and around the world will gather to celebrate 40 years of fellowship and recovery in Narcotics Anonymous in Sweden.

Three days of meetings, speakers, laughter, music, dancing, fellowship and recovery. People with just a few days clean alongside people with decades in recovery. Old friends reunited and new friendships beginning.

Someone may be attending their very first NA convention. And for the first time that weekend, they may find themselves thinking:

“If they can, maybe I can too.”

You don't need to have come far. You may have been clean for twenty years, twenty days or only just found NA. You may still be wondering whether this life is for you. Come anyway.

A convention is not only about hearing people talk about recovery. It is about seeing it — people laughing, hugging, dancing and living.

That feeling is difficult to describe. It has to be experienced.
